N.I.M | Night in Manila – October 28, 2011!

It’s that time of year again! On behalf of Loyola University Chicago’s Kapwa Filipino Student Organization, we proudly invite you to Kapwa’s Nite in Manila 2011!

Kapwa strives to enrich the Filipino culture and tradition, to promote awareness, and to educate the Filipino Americans around the Midwest. To achieve this mission, Kapwa turns to taking part in conferences, participating in community service, and by holding events such as Nite In Manila!

Nite in Manila is Kapwa’s annual variety show. Through this event we project Filipino talent from around the Illinois area. Our performances range from singing and dancing to spoken word and skits. It is a great way to show how far Filipino Americans have come and may even help find the hidden talent in you! This year’s theme is Youtube: Discover, Learn, and Share. We believe this theme is especially close to the Filipino community since many upcoming stars have been discovered through Youtube. Through this theme we hope you can DISCOVER the amazing performers we have in store for you, LEARN more of how far Filipinos have come, and SHARE with others outside the Filipino community!
